I have not been paying attention to DeviantArt like I should be. Mostly because I had the worst creative funk for about the past year. I used to draw at least once a week, and now I'm lucky if I doodle something marginally worthwhile every 3 months.

Last week, I created a mini-mural a paper table cloth at Garfield's, which was clearly a flashing indicator of "DRAW MOAR". I need more drawing practice, and am not the best at coming up with ideas out of my own head. I also naysay a lot of ideas that my brain delivers because I think they're derivative or marginally considered plagiarism. I also have this habit of injecting my friends into my mental artwork because it's ridiculously convenient. Then I worry that I'm creating "Mary Sue" artwork, and ruminate until I'm left with artwork mush. Not at all useful like bovine cud-chewing.

NAYSAY NO MORE.

I am working on something that hopefully will get me out of this rut. To the point where it's sort of difficult to concentrate on my job.
